ClientEarth

ClientEarth is a charity that uses the power of the law to protect people and the planet

A set of new reports show that three countries, all with major fishing industries, have not adequately enforced the ‘landing obligation’ or punished law-breakers.

The brief

The design of three reports in Spanish, French and Danish with English translated versions which show that three major European countries have not enforced the EU ban on fish discards, threatening the sustainability of European fish stocks. The reports were a mix of text, relevant imagery, data and endnotes.

The solution

We designed the set of three A4 12-page reports using a template style to ensure a consistent look for the full set of six documents. Variations in text length between the local language and the English translations meant we had to create some flexibility with the type area to ensure we maintained a uniform pagination across the set.
